Safe to visit Israel next weekend?
Sep 16th
I am flying into Tel Aviv next Friday, going to the Dead Sea for one night then two days/nights in Jerusalem and one night in Tel Aviv. How safe is it there right now? MY primary concern is getting from Tel Aviv to Dead Sea in that it appears that we will have to travel part of the way through the West Bank. We have hired a private car service to transport us there and my boyfriend tells me not to worry but being a blonde American woman makes me a bit worried. Also, many of the guidebooks say that you should obviously dress modestly when going to religious sites (Western wall, etc.). How about just walking around in Old City Jerusalem? Should I be concerned about keeping my head (blonde hair) covered? I feel like it is more of a security issue and as not to stand out in the crowd. Please advise…any thoughts on any of the above would be appreciated. Please note that I am less concerned about Tel Aviv as it appears to be quite a cosmopolitan city and we will only be there for one night
Is travel to Israel safe?
Sep 15th
I’m almost 15 and my dad and I were going to fly to Tel Aviv because of the great price we can get. I’ve never been to the Middle East before. I don’t speak Hebrew, but I can read Arabic and I speak enough to probably get around. We go traveling normally around Labor day for three days and once in the summer. We were thinking about heading over in September. Is this a good idea. The tickets we get are only because it’s a MAC flight. I have been overseas before, just never to the middle east.

Why You Should Travel to Israel
Sep 14th
Despite news of chaos and war in Israel, it is still the place where you should travel to when you have the time. Of course, safety is an issue but then again, everywhere we go there are always circumstances where your safety might be at stake. So, when travelling, it is best that we are prepared and we know what to expect. Research the place where you want to go and take note of the places that are not suitable for visiting. Try to learn their culture and adapt to it. Always have your wits and common sense in check because they are very useful characteristics that you can use.
As I have said, Israel is such a nice place to go to. You can have your spiritual journey in there whether you are a Christian or a Muslim and you can also enjoy a holiday trip and just relax. The beaches and the Dead Sea are one of the most “must visit” places there. For those who are travelling for their spiritual needs, you can go to Nazareth or Jerusalem or both. Israel offers lots things that you will surely enjoy.
But like visiting other many countries, you should also observe their culture and respect their tradition. Since 80 percent of the Israelis are Jews and some are also Muslims, we must observe some of their tradition. Keep in mind that Jews cannot eat meat and dairy at the same time. Also Jews and Muslims are not allowed to eat pork. Friday nights is their Sabbath day or Holy day and so most businesses like stores and restaurants owned by Muslims and Jews are closed. So, keep all of this in mind so that you can prevent offending the locals.
Israel always has a long hot summers and short cool winters. When visiting the place, it is best that you time it to their summer times so you could enjoy the beaches. Also, always have yourself booked ahead especially on peak holiday seasons. And places like Jerusalem are always full of tourists all year round so make sure that you have booked in to a hotel.
Once all is done, you can now travel to Israel.

Vacations and holidays should always be spent wisely. You should spend some time for your spiritual needs and then some time to relax, enjoy, and party. If this is the type of holiday trip or vacation that you want, then Israel is the place to go.
Yes, whether you are a Christian, Muslim or Jew, Israel has places that will suite you. The country has lots of historical sites and ruins that are relevant for people with different religions or culture and background. They are a must-see place. The Dead Sea, famous for being the saltiest sea on the face of earth as well as for its buoyancy characteristic is also located in Israel. Israel also offers lots of glorious beaches where you can just sit and enjoy the beach. Luxurious hotels and high-end dining can also be experienced in Israel. Places like Tel Aviv and Eilat offers a metropolis city where you can find anything that you want and still find peace in the beaches nearby.
For those who wish to experience spiritual enlightenment or those who wish to strengthen their bond with God or Allah more, you might find these while visiting places like Jerusalem and Nazareth. Of course, as we already know, Jerusalem is the Holy land and is visited by people from all religions and walk of life to worship their God. You can also visit Nazareth, the place where Mary and Joseph once lived and where Angel Gabriel visited Mary.
Israel has lots more places to offer to their tourists. More reasons for you to fly to Israel and visit the places that I have mentioned. But before jumping to a plane, make sure that you have booked yourself ahead. Israel is quite crowded by tourists and so it is imperative that you have a hotel to stay in when you go there.
Is there a safe, cheap way of traveling from Israel to Europe that excludes flying?
Sep 13th
I will be going to Israel this summer and am hoping to head towards Europe afterwards. I am hoping to go by boat to Cyprus, Greece finally Italy, but I am having difficulty finding anything online. Is it unsafe to choose this method of travel? I don’t have much money as I am a student, so boat seems adventurous and cheap. I have good travel experience in SE Asia, so I am accustomed to the lifestyle. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!
